FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Chemical Peel1?
A chemical peel is a cosmetic procedure that involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which causes the outer layer to peel off. This process helps improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and treat various skin concerns.
What Downtime Is There After The Chemical Peel?
After a peel, your skin can become more sensitive. It’s crucial to shield it from too much sun exposure to prevent damage. In the days following the peel, you may see a bit of redness and notice some light peeling or scaling. But don’t worry, there’s even microscopic peeling occurring that you can’t see.
How Often Can I Get a Chemical Peel?
To get the best results, we suggest giving yourself a 4-week break between peels.
