Dermal Filler

Avoid alcohol for 48 hours before treatment. If your medical condition allows, stop blood thinning medications such as Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc for one week prior to treatment. Avoid products that can irritate the skin for 3 days before treatment (retinols, exfoliating acids, Hydroquinone). Inform your injector of any medical conditions, allergies, autoimmune disorders, etc at your consultation.

Your skin may be swollen and/or red for up to 10 days after treatment. Your results may be uneven and lumps may be present for up to 3 weeks. This is is normal and typically resolves on its own. You may gently massage any lumps felt. Bruising may also occur and typically resolves after one week. Avoid extended UV exposure until any redness/swelling has subsided and apply SPF. Avoid strenuous exercise, blood thinning medications, and alcohol for 24 hours to reduce bruising, avoid laser or IPL and facial treatments for at least 2 weeks.
