Pre & Post Body Sculpting Treatment

Excess hair in the treatment area will need to be shaved. Be well hydrated prior to treatment. Body piercings may need to be removed if under or near the treatment area.

Redness or swelling may occur and typically resolve within a few days, palpable nodules that are tender to touch or lumps in the treatment area may develop up to 72 hours following treatment and typically resolve over several weeks, gently massage the nodules for 2-5 minutes twice daily. Multiple treatments may be required, notify the clinic if any of the following occur: blisters, crusting or skin burns, tenderness, redness or swelling persisting longer than a few days.

Body sculpting is non-invasive and involves little to no pain. Side effects to body sculpting procedures are very minimal, usually consisting of minor pain, swelling, or a warm feeling on the treated area.

Before you come in for your treatment, there are a few things we do recommend: Stay hydrated! Boost your water intake for two days before your appointment to maximize the effectiveness of the procedure. Stay in the shade! Avoid exposing your treatment areas to direct sunlight for a week before your appointment to prevent sunburns. Go natural! Skip the makeup and deodorant on your treatment area to prevent skin irritation during the procedure.
